Under the QESI, we can help grow your registered education savings plan (RESP) by contributing up to $300 per year.
SAVING FOR A CHILD'S FUTURE IS SMART
The child can:
- use the funds from the QESI to pay for their post-secondary education once they turn 16;
- use the amounts however they want to (tuition, housing, transportation, food, etc.);
- enroll in any designated educational institution in Québec, Canada or abroad.

Anyone can open an RESP for a child under 17—parents, grandparents, guardians, other relatives or friends.

You can start contributing as soon as the child is born or any time before they turn 17.

The Government of Canada offers the Canada Education Savings Grant and the Canada Learning Bond.
